When I am filming, the images I observe through the viewfinder get transformed into universes that I'm thrilled to explore, sometimes I want to reconstruct them and sometimes I rather leave them alone; one way or the other I always end up becoming part of them. I connect with my team, I understand the context and in this way I get to do the storytelling in a more personal way.
